This poem is about Christians that are hurt and as a result they’ve built “glass” walls around themselves. There are many people who have not come to know Christ as their Saviour yet and among them are drug addicts. Drug addicts have a special place in my heart. If you know Christ, then let go of your bitterness, judgement, unforgiveness and begin to love unconditionally. You possess what can heal others… Drug addicts are in so much pain and they need love to start with. Don’t be a pathetic or apathetic person – let the love revolution begin!!!!
Jeremiah 46:11-12 (Amplified Bible)
Go up into Gilead and take [healing] balm, O Virgin Daughter of Egypt! In vain do you use many medicines; for you there is no healing or remedy. The nations have heard of your disgrace and shame, and your cry has filled the earth. For warrior has stumbled against and thrown down warrior, and they have fallen both of them together.
Jeremiah 8:21-22 (Amplified Bible)
For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I [Jeremiah] hurt; I go around mourning; dismay has taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people restored? [Because Zion no longer enjoyed the presence of the Great Physician!]

Your passion died…
You see their pain.
Inside they bleed
Still you sit in apathy
You refuse to connect
Who are you?
Why so numb?
Blinded by your own wounds?
Where is the living water?
Don’t look at yourself!
Fix your eyes on Love.
The force stronger than death.
Love overcomes meth.
Enslaved they are
You don’t give a damn!
Compassion escaped your heart!
They buy needles to numb the pain.
Your cold, glass, walls
Isolate healing from them.
YOU possess the balm of Gilead
You are pathetic in your apathy
